Temporary Holiday Surcharge - Shipping Fee

Effective Oct. 5, 2020 through Jan. 17, 2021, there will be a $5.00 shipping charge implemented on orders weighing over 50 lbs. FedEx has implemented an additional handling fee for packages over 50 lbs during the peak holiday season, from Oct to Nov, that they announced to us without notice. We understand and recognize the extreme inconvenience this may cause some of our long time loyal customers, but please know that this is only temporary. We always do our best to avoid passing on increases to our customers as a small business, but sadly this is a business decision we must implement short-term in order to continue forward. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this busy and unusual holiday season.   • Standard Shipping | 10 lb - 49 lb = Free
  • Peak Season Shipping | 50 lb and up = $5.00*
  • Minimum Shipping | 0 lb - 9 lb = $10.00

*The above rates went into effect on Tuesday afternoon, October 13th 2020. If you're ordering more than 60 lbs of pet food, you may be subject to additional charges per box.

Delays Possible During Holiday Peak Season

FedEx, UPS, and other popular couriers nationwide are all experiencing delays due to a shortage of drivers and spike in online orders and shipping needs. They have alerted us that unfortunately since March 2020, they've been running over capacity. As we enter the holiday shopping season, from October 2020 through January 2021, it is very possible for a package to be delayed. As a precaution, we are encouraging our customers to order 2 weeks in advance to avoid running too low on pet food supply. While delays are common during the month of December in years past, we are entering unchartered territory as most states still remain closed and/or discourage in person shopping for customers, causing this huge spike and increase of online shopping/packages being shipped. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you over the holiday months.

As a friendly courtesy, we suggest placing a reorder at least 2 weeks in advance to avoid running out of pet food, especially as we approach the busy holiday season.
