33rd Annual K9 Show
Join us in person for the 33rd Annual Orange County Police Canine Association Show—fun with our furry heroes!
The 33rd Annual Orange County Police Canine Association (OCPCA) K9 Show is a premier community event that brings together law enforcement K9 teams from across Orange County for an evening of action-packed demonstrations, education, and family-friendly entertainment. Hosted in Irvine, the show highlights the incredible capabilities of police service dogs, including suspect apprehension, narcotics and explosives detection, and SWAT operations. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet K9 handlers, interact with the dogs during a pre-show meet-and-greet, and learn more about how these highly trained teams protect and serve their communities every day. The event also features specialty units, aerial support, and a dynamic finale, all while raising funds to support ongoing training, equipment, and the care of active and retired police canines.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit the OCPCA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the training, welfare, and effectiveness of police K9 teams throughout Orange County. The event will take place RAIN or SHINE!

The OCPCA was started in 1983 by several law enforcement canine handlers in an effort to share information about the training and use of canines in law enforcement. As the OCPCA grew, they began to host an annual canine demonstration for the public that served as a fundraiser for the OCPCA. In the fall of each year, the OCPCA has continued the tradition of hosting their annual canine benefit show. At the exciting family show, you can see K-9 teams perform obedience, agility, apprehension, handler protection, explosive and narcotic detection. Through the benefit show, the OCPCA raises funds which are donated to assist the families of fallen officers, provide medical care for retired police K-9s, assist police departments needing to replace retired K-9s, and provide further training for K-9 teams.
