Of course we know to leave out cookies for Santa...but what about Santa Paws?! During the hustle and bustle of the season's festivities, don't forget about your pet this year. See below for a truly magical treat this holiday season that's tasty and easy to make!
SANTA PAW COOKIES
- 2 1/2 Cups of Whole Wheat Flour
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup of Canned Pumpkin
- 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2 - Whisk together flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. After initially mixed all ingredients together I then used my hands to really mix everything well. You may also need to add a little bit of water.
3 - Roll the dough into a ball. Then flour a hard surface and use a rolling pin to roll the dough out, which should be about 1/2 inch thick.
4 - Use your favorite holiday cookie cutter to make a cute shape (we suggest Christmas Trees or Gingerbread Shapes).
5 - Bake in oven for about 30 minutes, or until hardened. Enjoy!
