RECOMMENDED DAILY FEEDING GUIDELINES:

Follow the feeding guidelines shown below for adult cats. We recommend splitting this amount into two meals. Your cat’s food intake should be adjusted based upon body condition, life stage, activity, and environmental temperature. Since Nature’s Select® cat foods are complete and balanced, additional foods, and treats may alter the nutritional balance and calories. Provide fresh water every day in a clean bowl to help good digestion. Be sure to take your cat to your local veterinarian for an annual health examination. The following is based on a standard 8 oz. cup size

Kittens and pregnant or lactating females should be offered at least two or three times the amount shown in the table above.

 Transitioning to Nature’s Select:

Switching your current food to any cat food should be completed through a gradual transition over 7 to 10 days. Feed 25% of the new food with 75% of the current food for 2 to 3 days. This should be followed by 50% of each food for 2 to 3 days. This transition is completed by 75% of the new food with 25% of the current food for 2 to 3 days. After this time, your cat will be 100% on Nature’s Select. This transition will help reduce any digestive upsets that may occur due to the change in the food.
